Drahthaar gets placed in Group at Crufts 2007

Well the pundits were not far wrong - we predicted on this site this morning, that Ch Freddy Vom Kapellenhof at Bareve (imp Deu), known as ‘Freddy’ would win Best of Breed in German Wirehaired Pointers and win the Gundog group.
Well he won the best dog, beating the 2004 Crufts Best of Breed, Ch Kimmax Kennedy.
He then won against his litter sister for Best of Breed and has just come runner up in the Gundog Group to the flatcoat retriever from Norway, SUCH/NUCH/ Almanza Far & Flyg.
This is the first time a Drahthaar has been placed in the group at Crufts.
